A huge thank you again for the wonderful course - as I’ve been practicing in many many different centres and studios this past couple of months it’s really made me realise how unparalleled Darshan and Ajay’s teaching is, how much I learnt and what a huge impact it has had on my practice and understanding of yoga in general. You two really are the best in the game. Feeling very grateful for this much needed intervention on my asana journey… such a blessing that you share the depth of this practice with people 🙏🏼Posted on Google Elisabetta Del GiudiceApril 18, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve just completed a Yin Yoga course, at Prakruti Yoga Shala in Rishikesh, and I truly feel grateful to have had such wonderful teachers. Both of them are incredibly knowledgeable, skilled, and genuinely passionate about sharing what they know. They created a beautiful balance between lighthearted, playful moments and deeper, more focused ones, which made the whole experience engaging and meaningful. Rucha made the theoretical part truly fascinating and accessible. She managed to turn the anatomical section, often difficult and dry into something engaging and interesting. She explained complex concepts with clarity and generosity, always open to questions and discussion. Rèka guided the practical part of the asana practice with great care, bringing theory into action and helping us understand different variations. This was especially valuable, as it gave us tools to build future classes that can adapt to the needs of our students, with both creativity and discipline. The course was very well structured, and every curiosity or doubt found space and thoughtful answers. It was also especially inspiring and meaningful to learn from women teachers, an enriching experience on many levels. I would wholeheartedly recommend this training to anyone interested in Yin Yoga. A heartfelt thank you to both Rèka and Rucha for their dedication, generosity, and inspiration throughout this journey.Posted on Google Lenka ZabkovaApril 15, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Love this place. It’s simple but so practical. Fair price, clean and great spot in Tapovan. Silent on the side road. Nice view on mountain. Guys are super friendly, very cool and helpful. Joined drop in classes and it was very professional, the teacher has a lot of knowledge and he teaches in nice ease. Loved the Yin yoga classes, was nice and releasing. The teacher was nice to be around, I felt very held at the class and easy to surrender. Coming back in a month. Thank you guys.Posted on Google Liberty 333April 13, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I am so happy and grateful for my journey and my choice of Prakruti Yogashala. Darshan Ji is creating such an amazing community and offers a truly beautiful and transformative programme that allows you to go deeper into all elements of yoga, from asana, pranayama, meditation, mantra and philosophy to anatomy and even Ayurveda. The asana practice is alignment based, following Iyengar traditions. I had never practised this style before, but with Darshan’s incredible teaching method and his deep, embodied understanding of the body and mind, the classes helped me see the asanas in a completely new light. He is strict but hilarious and has a big heart - another amazing element is that he also stays at the school so his support and insight is always available. Within Asana, you build from the foundations up and begin to understand both the poses and your own body in a whole new way. Bio-mechanics and extremely detailed queuing allows for so much liberation and correction. I’ve already completed a 200 hour training at another school, but this experience went so much deeper for me, especially in asana and across many levels. Another major highlight of the course was mantra and vocal activation. We went deeply into the meaning of the mantras and were empowered to use our own voices, which was really special. Darshan also does an amazing job of decolonising yoga and opening your mind to the lineage, so you can carry these tools forward and share the knowledge in a respectful and powerful way. We even had a lesson in the semantics of Sanskrit, Darshan is always inspiring his students to learn and grow in yoga, philosophy , arts and music. In philosophy, we explored the sutras in depth and had inspiring conversations supported by thoughtful journal prompts, which allowed for deep introspection. The books and manuals provided are also amazing resources. The teaching methodology lessons were clear and supportive, and I’m leaving the course with a strong foundation in sequencing. I feel confident with the knowledge and tools I’ve gained to deepen my own sadhana and self practice, and to teach in the future. The school also offers beautiful excursions to the Ganga, where we learned how to truly connect with and enter into the spirit of this sacred river. As well as this there is always amazing extra events and workshops being hosted at the school - real traditional Kirtans, cacao ceremony , sound healing and Indian martial arts. The programme is intense and challenging in the best way - you will learn and grow so much. Thank you so much to Darshan ji and the whole team of amazing teachers and volunteers. The school has such a genuine family vibe. My partner and I even stayed for two extra weeks to continue drop-in classes, and we really feel like we’ve found a community and friends that will stay with us. I have so much love and so much gratitude, Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou 🙏🙏🙏 Om Namah Sivaya 🕉️🕉️🕉️🕉️✨✨✨✨✨✨Posted on Google Virginia BottanApril 8, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently completed the 200h TTC in March 2026 at Prakruti Yogashala, and it was a deeply meaningful and genuinely transformative experience that I highly recommend. From the very beginning, we’re encouraged to approach the training with respect and kindness—for the gurus, the teachers, ourselves, and the group. It sets a very real and authentic tone from day one, and that mindset becomes essential to the whole process. The asana practice is strongly focused on alignment (with an Iyengar influence), which really defines the school. It completely changed the way I understand my body. Through that precision you start actually feeling how body, mind, and awareness are connected. It’s very tangible, very clear—and the shift starts happening quite fast. The program itself is very well structured, and everything connects in a way that supports real inner work. Beyond the physical practice, things like mantra and vocal activation were surprisingly powerful—honestly, one of the highlights for me. The teachers are exceptional. Not just knowledgeable, but present, patient, and truly generous in how they share. You can feel they care about each student’s process. It’s also a small group, which makes a big difference. The training can be intense—physically, mentally, emotionally— I personally had a challenging time moving beyond wrist pain, self-limitations, amongts other things, but the teachers Darshan and Vikram, and my fellow students where supportive and encouraging the whole way. What I’m taking from this is a much deeper understanding of the practice, and a sense of meaning I was honestly looking for. I’m leaving with a lot of gratitude, and also a real motivation to keep learning and practicing. Big thanks to Darshan and the whole Prakruti team for the way they hold and share this work. Keep doing what you do best—we’ll happily come back again in the future!Posted on Google Yong Xiang NgApril 3, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Just finished 2 weeks of drop in classes with Darshan-Ji and feeling very grateful for the experience. In a place like Rishikesh where there are more yoga shalas than restaurants (probably), it is hard to choose a place for beginners like me, especially when most places cater mainly to the YTT participants. But I really enjoyed my time here and the classes cater to all levels with alignment cues that will definitely improve and change your practice. Although he might walk around with a stick and prod you to engage certain muscle groups, Darshan-ji has does it with such a gentle warmth, which makes him a great teacher. Would definitely be back and would recommend for my fellow beginners-intermediates!
